You will find here information on some upcoming space-related events in France, including of course ISU-France activities! The ISU-France events are opened to the public. Thanks to all of you who share information about events (latest update: Nov. 16, 2008).

Les enjeux stratégiques du vol habité vs. Les besoins du citoyen européen 18h30 : Accueil 18h45 : Présentation des invités principaux: Jean-Pierre Haigneré, Astronaute ESA; Alain Wagner, Directeur de la Stratégie, ASTRIUM Space Transportation: Piero Messina, responsable du bureau de coordination des vols habites, ESA; Nassim Bovet, responsable des admissions, International Space University (ISU); Fernando Doblas, Responsable du Departement Communication, ESA; Jacques Arnould, philosophe et chercheur, CNES. 19h00 : Débat sous forme de table ronde. Themes abordés: Les enjeux du vol spatial habité pour la société et le citoyen européen; Les enjeux du vol habité pour les activités spatiales; Le vol habité en chiffres : Budget, emplois et capacités techniques; Les différents scenarios envisageables pour les 20 ans à venir en Europe; Les orientations politiques récentes, et leurs implications. 20h30 : Dîner en ville, aux frais de chaque participant (en option). 50 places ouvertes. What have we been up to
The ISU-France association has over the years organised quite a few events. In many ISU alumni gatherings, new friendships have been born, professional partnerships have been formed, and... some jobs have been found! You will find below, some ISU-France milestones.
- Dec. 2008: Upcoming debate on human spaceflight in Paris!

- April 2008: Election of a new ISU-France Administrative Council and its Board !

- June 2007: Special PAGA during Le Bourget Air and Space event (+25 international participants)
- Feb. 2007: Paris Alumni Gathering (PAGA) (+20 participants)

- Nov. 2006 : Special Saturday night "raclette" fever. (+15 participants)
- Sept. 2006 : Fall PAGA + Annual General Assembly (more than 14 events organised in a year and a half!). (+25 participants)
- August 2006 : "2006 Alumni Weekend" organised by ISU-France, during the SSP'06 in Strasbourg (+50 alumni came from all over the world)
- June 2006 : Special spring PAGA (+25 participants)
- April 2006 : Yuri's night in the French capital: a Russian banquet with music, followed by a fun "dance in space" event. (+ 25 participants)
- Feb. 2006 : Chinese new year celebration (Year of the Dog). Brief update on the Chinese space programme by our colleague Hu Zhe (SSP'05, future MSS'06) and friendly dinner in an Asian restaurant. (+ 15 participants)
- Jan. 2006 : A dozen ISU alumni (+ 1 French astronaut!) met in Paris to enjoy together the loufoque French movie « Un ticket pour l'espace » on space tourism. (+ 10 participants)

- December 2005 : Participation of many alumni living in France to the 10th Anniversary of the ISU Master's programme, in Strasbourg. Great party organised by ISU (+150 participants)!
- October 2005 : PAGA taking place during a beautiful Parisian indian summer (+25 participants)
- September 2005 : STRAGA in Strasbourg
- August 2005 : ISU-France new website comes online
- June 2005 : Special PAGA for the « Bourget Air Show » (+35 participants)
- May 2005 : 1st "Dine and Debate" event on a possible Asian race to the Moon
- April 2005 : Yuri’s night in Paris, in a great Russian restaurant (+20 participants)
- February 2005 : Election of a new ISU-France Administrative Council and its Board, during a special PAGA organised in the beautiful "Cercle Saint Augustin" in Paris (+35 participants). Claire Jolly (MSS’99) is elected president, Bérénice Guédel (SSP’04) becomes ISU-France secretary.
- January 2005 : PAGA for the New Year

- September 2004 : Presentation of ISU new programmes in the "Salle de l'espace" at CNES (e.g. Master of Space Management), followed by a PAGA with several new ISU alumni just back from the SSP in Australia (SSP’04).
- July 2004 : Special PAGA organised during the 35th COSPAR conference(Committee on Space Research) in Paris
- April 2004 : Yuri’s night in Paris
- February 2004 : 1st PAGA of 2004

- December 2003 : The new ISU-France Board starts, with François Spiero (SSP’88) as President and Claire Jolly (MSS’99) as ISU secretary.
- October 2003 : Election of a new ISU France Administrative Council, followed by a PAGA.
- August 2003 : Organisation of a long "ISU alumni weekend" in cooperation with the European Alumni Association, during the 1st ever summer session in Strasbourg (SSP’03)
- June 2003 : Special PAGA during the "Bourget Air Show"
- April 2003 : Yuri’s night in Paris
- Janvier 2003 : PAGA to celebrate the New year

- November 2002 : Special conference promoting ISU programmes to space industry in CNES, in Paris, followed by a PAGA.
- September 2002 : Participation of numerous alumni living in France, to the formal inauguration of ISU new campus in Strasbourg.
- April 2002 : Yuri’s night in Paris
- January 2002 : PAGA to celebrate New Year

- November 2001: Autumn PAGA
- September 2001 : First ISU-France general assembly. Louis Laidet (CNES) becomes the 1st president of the association, and Isabelle Bouvet (SSP’99) the 1st ISU-France secretary. Meeting followed by a PAGA.
- 12 June 2001 : Creation and official launch of the ISU-France association, at the "Bourget Air Show".
